i have decided that if i continue to live in this area, they simply need to learn how to clear the roads after snow. as of now, with all the advances in snow removal NY seems to have, what is the deal with NOT plowing the roads when it snows? i'm not sure if they don't see it, or are still unsure how to move it, but it's really a very simple thing... thousands of northerners do it every day during the 6 months + of winter...
enough complaints. i'm just tired of being snow bound with two little people who are also tired of being snow bound with me. that's really what it's all about. this cancelling school is simple nonsense. esp. for the three days of this week and 4 of the days last week. inconceivable. (-fezzig, princess bride)
moving on, the hard copy, first ever published (finally and congrats to them!) magazine relevant, came to my house this week. as i'm sure it did for thousands of others. their website is over there <----- but i have to tell you, if you haven't seen it yet, it isn't your typical conservative christian, head in the sand, rightist point of view. they are open to what is current in the world, but base it all on God's word. good place to be. definitely something i plan to continue to support.
and along with supporting, the 30 hour famine sponsored by world vision. honored to have been a part of it yet again. 30 hours isn't much... and we've helped save a kids life. several kids in fact. as you've read this though, about 12 more kids have died of starvation. do something about it. you can.... www.worldvision.org
