ducks

so today, miss j. and i had gymnastics. for 3 year olds, it's really more running around on mats and crawling through stuff till you're exhausted. but whatver. after we were feeding the ducks at the pond nearby, and there were several white/farm ducks, and then a few mallards. one of the mallards, a male, was chasing a female mallard and 2 or 3 of the white ducks were pecking at him. at first i thought they were all chasing her, but then i saw differently...
additionally, after they jumped in the water, he was (literally) riding on the back of on the white ducks. now, we all know what he was after...

and i thought 'isn't that typical'
